What We Do

Tri-Cities Ministries seeks to care for our communities by bridging the gap for our neighbors in their time of need, building our communities through partnerships and community engagement, and bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ’s love for all. While we are unapologetic about our faith-based motivations, we have no religious requirements of our clients and our communities to receive service, nor do we proselytize.

BRIDGING GAPS

We are able to provide emergency assistance and regular support to community members in the 76705 and 76640 zip codes. Residents may receive assistance with rent, utilities, food, and transportation. We ask each returning community member to participate in our “Journey Together” program. Paired with a caring volunteer, community members engage in encouraging and empowering conversations to set goals and work toward a future of self-sufficiency.

BUILDING COMMUNITY

The churches of Tri-Cities Ministries seek to be actively involved in the life of the communities of Bellmead, Lacy Lakeview, and Elm Mott/Chalk Bluff. In each community, we are looking for opportunities to build relationships, partner, and serve. We want to build bridges between our churches and communities so that community members can find hope and refuge while our church members find a place to serve, get to know their neighbors, and see God at work.

BRINGING GOOD NEWS

By working together as churches representing six Christian denominations we hope to share the message of God’s love by caring for the physical and spiritual needs of our communities. Through our work, we hope to see “our communities be healed, the ravages of poverty lessened, and for people to come to Jesus because the unified church loved them.” (Rev. Jack Bodenhamer)
